The existing project is on Lake Creek, a tributary to Cowlitz River, in Lewis County in southwestern Washington near Packwood. The project consists of a 452-acre natural lake Packwood.
The project occupies 511.65 acres of U.S. Departmentof Agriculture, Forest Service (Forest Service) land (administered by the Gifford PinchotNational Forest).
The 26.125 MW project produces about 92,000 MWh of generation annually.
