The project is located on the Fox River in Outagamie County, Wisconsin and includes two developments. The project’s authorized capacity being licensed is 9.4 MW.
The Badger Development is located in the City of Kaukauna at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Kaukauna dam and is situated on the south side of the Fox River, approximately 1,800 feet downstream of the Corps’ Kaukauna dam. The Badger Development utilizes the head created by the 22-foot-high Kaukauna dam.
The Rapide Croche Development is located in the Town of Buchanan at the Corps’ Rapide Croche dam and is located approximately 4.5 miles downstream of the Badger Development, is integral to the Corps’ Rapide Croche dam. The Rapide Croche Development utilizes the head created by the 20-foot-high dam.
