The Watertown project, with a revised installed capacity of 6.6 MW, is located on the Black River in Jefferson County, New York.

The project’s principal features consist of two dams (the diversion dam and the Delano Island dam), a headgate, a power canal and forebay, a powerhouse, an impoundment, and appurtenant facilities.

NOTES:
A planned upgrade in 1995 intended to increase capacity to 10.8 MW was never completed. As a result, the facility remains at 6.6 MW, as confirmed by FERC’s order (P-2442-050, issued 04/23/2001), which also required turbine nameplate updates to reflect 2,200 kW installed capacity per unit.
License Amended 04-23-2001 – FERC issued an order amending the Watertown Project license, revising the total authorized installed capacity to 6.6 MW and adjusting annual charges accordingly. The order required turbine nameplates to be updated to reflect a 2,200 kW installed capacity per unit.
