The London-Marmet Hydroelectric project is owned by the Appalachian Power Company and consists of two developments on London and Marmet dams, both of which are owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

The project is located on Piru Creek, a tributary of the Santa Clara River, in Ventura County, California. Piru Creek originates in the Los Padres National Forest and is the largest tributary of the Santa Clara River providing about half of the river’s flow.

Snake River is the largest tributary of the Columbia River and is more than 1,000 miles long. The Snake River has more than 23 dams on its mainstem making it one of the most dammed rivers in the Northwest. The river is used for power generation, water supply and irrigation.

The project, yet to be constructed but licensed in Jan 2012, would be located on the Gibson dam, owned by the Bureau of Reclamation and located inside the Lewis and Clark National Forest in Lewis and Clark and Teton Counties in Montana.

This project is located on the New River in Pulaski County in Virginia. The stretch of river from Claytor Dam to Eggleston offers recreationists ample opportunities to fish and float the wide and relatively slow flow with beautiful scenery of high cliffs. Downstream of the Peppers Ferry Bridge is a series of Class I-II ledges for whitewater paddling.
