This report examines the near-catastrophic failure of the tallest dam in the country, and calls for action on 18 recommendations, and dozens of sub-recommendations in 4 key areas: addressing California’s aging dam infrastructure, operating dams more safely and efficiently, advancing multi-benefit flood management projects, and increasing transparency and public engagement.
